Easy Vegetable Chowder

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red onion
- 1 red pepper
- About 250g potato peeled
- 2-3 cloves garlic
- 3/4 pt vegetable stock
- 1/2 pt milk
- 150 g frozen sweetcorn
- 50 g strong cheddar cheese grated
- Black pepper
