Granola

Ingredients

  • 500 g jumbo oats I use Scott's Old-Fasioned porage oats
  • 200 g seeds a mixture of pumpkin, sunflower and sesame in any ratio
  • 75 g dessicated coconut unsweetened
  • 100 g chopped pistachios
  • 100 ml sunflower oil
  • 120 g runny honey or maple syrup if you want to make it vegan

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 150 °C/300 °F/gas mark 2.
  • Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl, mixing well.
  • Spread out on one or two non-stick baking trays.
  • Bake for 30-45 minutes, stiring and turning the mixture every 10 minutes.
  • When it's ready the granola will be a light golden brown.
  • Leave to cool and store in an airtight container.

Notes

Serve with milk or fruit and yoghurt.
